1. Overview
This page explains how to delete your PDF Scanner Pro account, developed by Pivot Master Apps, and what happens to your data when you do.
You may not have an account at all. Signing in is optional in PDF Scanner Pro. If you have never used Settings → Sign in with Google, no account exists and nothing of yours is stored on our servers — your documents live only on your device.
2. Delete Your Account From the App
The fastest way is from inside the app. Deletion is immediate and automatic — no request, no waiting.
- Open PDF Scanner Pro.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Under Account & sync, tap Delete account.
- Confirm when asked. Your account and all backed-up data are erased straight away, and you are signed out.
Deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately. There is no recovery period, so please download anything you want to keep first.
3. If You Cannot Access the App
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you.
- Write to pivotmasterapps@gmail.com from the same Google address you signed in with. We use the sending address to verify the request, so a request from a different address cannot be actioned.
- Use the subject line Delete my account.
- We complete these requests within 30 days and confirm by email when done.
4. What Is Deleted
The following is erased permanently and cannot be recovered:
- Your account record — the account identifier, email address, display name and profile photo held by our authentication provider.
- Backed-up documents — every PDF you synced to your account.
- Document details — the title, page count, file size and last-modified time stored for each backed-up document.
- Enhanced OCR usage — the counter used to apply the daily Enhanced OCR limit to your account.
5. What Is Kept, and For How Long
Documents stored only on your device
These were never sent to us, so there is nothing for us to delete. They stay on your phone and in the app after deletion. To remove them, delete them in the app or uninstall it.
Purchase and subscription records
Held by Google Play rather than by us. We cannot delete them, and Google retains them to meet tax and accounting obligations. Manage a subscription at Google Play subscriptions.
Anonymous analytics
Not linked to your account and cannot be traced back to you once it is deleted. Retained in aggregate for up to 14 months, then removed automatically.
Support emails
If you contacted us, that correspondence is kept for up to 12 months so we can evidence that a request was received and completed, then deleted.
