1. Agreement
These terms are between you and Pivot Master Apps and govern your use of
TV Remote for Roku & Fire TV (package com.pivotapps.tvremote) and this website.
Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use
the app.
Your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own purposes. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, rent, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it.
3. Your content
Anything you create, import or open with the app remains yours. We claim no ownership over it and we do not use it to train anything or to advertise to you.
You are responsible for having your own copies of anything important. See the disclaimer in section 8.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to process material you have no right to process, to interfere with the app's security or the services it depends on, or to attempt to bypass its payment or entitlement checks.
5. Subscriptions and payment
The app is free to download and use, with optional paid features. The whole remote, forever: D-pad, volume, playback, power and one saved TV. Connecting to a different TV is always allowed — it replaces the saved one.
Premium. Premium remembers as many TVs as you like and switches between them in a tap, adds typing with your phone keyboard and one-tap app shortcuts, and removes the ads.
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You manage and cancel it in Google Play › Subscriptions, not in the app. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Where a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policy. We can ask Google to refund a purchase but cannot issue one directly.
- We may change the price. A change applies from your next renewal and Google notifies you beforehand, giving you the chance to cancel.
6. Advertising
The free version shows advertisements. We do not control the content of individual ads, which are selected and served by Google AdMob. Subscribing removes advertising.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what the app does with your information and forms part of these terms.
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Keep your own backups. The app modifies and stores files. We do not warrant that it will never lose, corrupt or fail to recover a file, and you should not rely on it as the only copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pivot Master Apps is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer you keep your statutory rights.
10. Changes and termination
We may update the app, these terms, or discontinue the app. Material changes to these terms are announced in the app or on this page with a new "last updated" date; continuing to use the app afterwards means you accept them.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access if you breach these terms.
