Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 September 2026

Your wardrobe stays on your phone. A photo leaves the device only when you ask for a cutout or a 3D pass, and it is not stored once that is done.

This policy covers the Virtual Closet app for iOS and Android, published by Pivot Master Apps. Questions: pivotmasterapps@gmail.com.

1. What stays on your device

Everything that makes up your wardrobe is stored only on your phone:

None of this is uploaded to us, backed up by us, or visible to us. Delete the app and it is gone.

2. What leaves your device, and when

Garment photos, only on request

When you ask for a cutout or a 3D pass, that single image is sent over HTTPS to our server (DigitalOcean, Frankfurt), which forwards it to Google Gemini to do the work, and returns the result to your phone.

We do not keep a copy. We ask Google not to retain the request for model training or conversation history. Google processes it under its own terms as our processor; see Google's Gemini API terms.

If you never use cutouts or 3D, no photograph ever leaves your phone.

Your account

Signing in uses Firebase Authentication (Google). We receive and store a user ID, your email address, and the display name your provider gives us. That is what lets the server know whose allowance is being spent, and stops strangers spending it.

If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only ever see Apple's relay address.

Your allowance

Our server keeps a count of how many cutouts and 3D passes your account has used this month, against your user ID. That is all it keeps.

Subscriptions

Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your card. We use RevenueCat to tell us whether a subscription is active for your user ID; see the RevenueCat privacy policy.

3. What we do not do

4. Permissions

Both are asked for in context, and refusing either leaves the rest of the app working.

5. How long anything is kept

6. Deleting your account

Open Settings ▸ Delete account in the app. Your account and the usage counts held against it are deleted for good. Your wardrobe is on your phone and stays there; remove the app if you want that gone too.

Full instructions are on the account deletion page.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, object to processing, or ask for a copy in portable form. Write to pivotmasterapps@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We process your account data to provide the service you asked for (contract), and to stop the paid features being abused (legitimate interests).

8. Children

Virtual Closet is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

If what leaves your device ever changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
